Three new Tracker dogs for Kruger National Park antipoaching unit
Meet Mokgadi, Makota and Madota three new tracking dogs!
Blankets for baby rhinos are super proud to announce that we have been able to supply the Kruger National Park with three new tracking dogs! These dogs are Bloodhound cross Doberman and are essential for the successful capture and arrest of poachers in the park. 95% of all arrests of poachers in the park involve the K-9 team.
This has only been made possible by the kind donation from two of our trustees who each paid for one dog and a fundraiser where members worldwide assisted in funding.
As well as supplying the dogs BFBR is dedicated to continuing to finance specialist veterinary care for these dogs where it is needed.
