Welcome African Wildlife Vets, a new beneficiary. This group of vets that assist wildlife in need were sponsored by BFBF for new set of tyres for their vehicle as well as some funding for their emergency fund. This came in very handy in March when two elephants were spotted with snares on their legs. Both were sedated the snares removed and the wounds treated. We are very proud that we have been able to assist with this, the snares have been donated to down2the wire to be recycled as jewellery which can be purchased through our online shop
